The EduClowns came out in full force in the small villages of Kumrareddiyapuram and Kullursanthai as a precursor to Blossom’s CEPT TB Screening Initiative that occurred the following days.
Large crowds came out to enjoy the humourous performances put on by the EduClowns. Their method to destigmatize the issue of tuberculosis is unique in India and helps the audience understand why getting tested for TB is important and not worth hiding from.
What better way to raise awareness on the importance of TB and getting tested than through a fun and engaging performance?!
The performance must have worked as the next day, people were very eager to sign up with the CEPT II team to get tested for TB.
